During a month long whirlwind through southeast Asia, including stays at some "landmark" properties this stands out as one of my most enjoyable and relaxing stays. Both the manager, Vivi and the owner, Tim are great people and available for interaction. Frankly, you won't need it much as the place runs pretty flawlessly.
If you are after a "luxury" experience, it won't be the place for you. If you want something very nice, which has some personality and charm, in a safe, clean comfortable environment, look no further. It is professionally run, without having an impersonal feeling.
It is also quite centrally located, and you have access to a myriad of restaurants and services, and there is a lively nightclub just across the road (though no noise issues).
This place gets my highest recommendation. Kudos to Vivi and Tim for creating a great welcoming environment.
