We didn't select this hotel as it was included with our cycling tour of Thailand/Cambodia, however, we were very pleasantly surprised.
The location is fantastic, it is just off the touristy Pub Street area and seems shielded from the noise and people walking past, but you just have to walk around the corner and you are in the middle of the action for meals, drinks and markets. Being able to walk saves having to get a tuk tuk and is really handy.
The rooms were nice and everything was very clean. Good (free) wifi coverage throughout the hotel. Our room overlooked the pool so had a very nice aspect. The pool was clean and (unusually for Cambodia) the water wasn't warm but was refreshingly cool as the pool is mostly shaded.
Our guides gave us some useful advice to get our clothes washed at the laundry across the road as it was much cheaper than getting it done at the hotel. They were right - $2.75 US for a huge bag of washing for two people! We used that laundry a few times during our stay.
Breakfast was decent but nothing special and often quite crowded as the seating area was small.
Service was generally very good. We'd read another trip advisor review where they were charged $8 for making a towel dirty when they checked out, so weren't surprised when we were told on checkout that they would just "check the room to see if we left anything there". They called the maid to check the room and there was no problem at all. We'd been tipping the maid daily and she left some cute thank you messages for us (she placed a soft toy that we'd left on top of our bags in the made up bed looking like he owned the place - made us laugh heaps) so we didn't think there would be a problem.
As it was included as part of a tour, I can't really comment on the price or value for money - I'm sure our tour group organisers would have been looking for good value so I assume it must have been.
